Hello! My name is Shelly, and I’m a queer and gender-non-conforming performer and director in the DC area! Thank you so much for spending the time to see my work!

I adore all art that centers generosity; sharing stories that involve love, forgiveness, and humanity is my passion, especially in difficult times. For me, reaching out to others is at the heart of theatre.

Through acting, I have been able to put myself in the shoes of other people and see life through a new lens. I believe this has made me more empathetic and connected to the people around me.

Every time I’ve had the opportunity to direct, I learn more about how to create a community and how to be a generous leader.
